Warranty & Guarantee

The Warranty period for a product is shown on the individual product page.

Please call us on 1800 688 221 for further instructions if you have a Warranty or Guarantee enquiry.

• The Warranty covers products purchased from Animal Training Systems and their authorised dealers only.
• The Warranty is valid to the original purchaser only and proof of purchase must be provided.
• Rechargeable Batteries and Battery Chargers included with a system have a One Year Warranty.
• The Warranty covers intrinsic component and manufacturing defects, and faulty workmanship only.
• The faulty item will be repaired or replaced at our discretion within the Warranty period.
• Damage from dogs chewing, accidental damage and wear and tear from excessive field use is not covered.
• Parts that malfunction due to misuse, loss of parts, improper maintenance, or incorrect handling are not covered.
• All replacement costs for water damage on the Water Resistant Transmitter of the Micro iDT Plus will be the owner’s responsibility.
• The Warranty is void if the unit has been altered or an unauthorized person has damaged the unit while attempting repair work.
• The purchaser assumes all risks and liabilities from the use of this Product.

All repair work is carried out in Australia for the convenience of our customers. DT Systems products purchased outside of Australia are not covered by our warranty, but we are happy to give you a quote for product servicing.

• The Warranty covers products purchased from Animal Training Systems and their authorised dealers only.

• Radio Systems Australia Pty Ltd warrants to the original retail purchaser that its Product, when subject to normal and proper residential use, will be free from defects in material or workmanship for the specific warranty period from the purchase date.
• An “original retail consumer purchaser” is a person or entity who originally purchases the Product, or a gift recipient of a new Product that is unopened and in its original packaging.
• Radio Systems will repair or replace the faulty item at their discretion within the Warranty period.
• This Limited Warranty excludes accidental damage due to dog chews; lightning damage; or neglect, alteration, and misuse.
• All replacement costs for water damage on Water Resistant Transmitters will be the owner’s responsibility.
• The purchaser assumes all risks and liabilities from the use of this Product.

Many of our products carry a Performance Guarantee, this will be indicated on the individual product page when it is included.

This Guarantee is offered on a joint liability basis whereby the purchaser agrees to follow all instructions for use and training guidelines as outlined in the product manual.

If the product does not perform satisfactorily it may be returned under the following conditions:

• The product is first approved for return by contacting us on 1800 688 221.
• Goods are returned with a copy of your original receipt within the 30 day period from date of purchase.
• Goods are returned in reasonable condition and include all packaging and accessories.
• The purchaser shall pay the cost of postal return
• A restocking fee of 10%(minimum $19.00) will be charged on all returned items.
• Deductions will be also be made from the receipted purchase price to cover the cost of postage, consumables and missing or damaged items.
• Consumables include replaceable batteries, collar straps that are cut or have dog odour, spray cannisters and used containment fence wire & flags.
• All returned goods are at your own risk and we suggest you always obtain a tracking number and insure more expensive items.
• We do not accept any responsibility for goods that are lost in transit and not received by us. Returns by COD will not be accepted.
• All Guarantees are valid to the original purchaser only and are not transferable if product is onsold.

In no event shall Animal Training Systems be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of our products, website or services.
