The SportDOG Contain + Train is the only dog containment fence and remote dog training system in one package. This system combines the same capabilities of the SportDOG 425-E Remote Trainer and the SportDOG In-Gound Fence SDF-100A, without having to change the dog’s collar. The SportDOG Contain + Train allows you to set up a safe containment area for your dog, on properties up to 100 acres (with additional) wire, while also allowing you to correct any unwanted behaviour within or beyond the set containment area with a 450m remote training range.

How the SportDOG Contain + Train SDF-CT-22
Containment and Training Mode:
When the collar is set to containment and training mode, the collar will receive the radio signal from both the containment fence wire and the remote transmitter. This allows you to simultaneously train your dog within your contained area.

Containment Mode:
When the collar is set to containment mode, the collar module will only pick up the radio signal that is sent through the boundary wire from the fence transmitter. When your dog is wearing the collar and approaches the boundary wire, the collar will emit a warning beep when they enter the warning zone. If they ignore the warning zone and continue towards the fence, the collar will deliver a safe static stimulation to remind them to retreat to the ‘safe zone’.

When the collar is set to containment mode, it will not receive the signal from the remote transmitter. If you want to swith over to remote training mode, you will need to set the collar to either ‘Containment and Training Mode’ or ‘Training Only Mode’.

Training Only Mode:
When the collar is set to training only mode, the collar module will only pick up the radio signal sent from the SportDOG remote transmitter. This allows you to train your dog wherever you want over a maximum range of 450m. You will also be able to walk your dog through the warning zone or stimulation zone without the collar delivering a static stimulation from the fence radio signal.

Containment Fence:

• Add an unlimited number of dogs providing they are wearing a compatible SportDOG or PetSafe fence collar
• Please Note – Petsafe and SportDOG containment fence collars will only work with the fence, they will not function with the remote transmitter.

Remote Trainer:

• Expandable up to 3 dogs providing they are wearing a compatible SportDOG additional collars
